Obituary of Bob Stark

Bobby Joseph Stark, 73-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born August 29, 1948 in Kennett, MO to Herman Jefferson and Amy Hester (Masterson) Stark. Bobby was a farmer and a true cowboy at heart. He loved animals and enjoyed all outdoor activities ranging from camping to tractor pulls. He loved to ride horses and attend rodeos and bull rides. He also enjoyed fishing and cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren. An important part of his daily life was to watch Shepherd’s Chapel while eating lunch. On October 1, 2005, Bobby married Alitia Ward in Quilin, MO. She survives. Also surviving are his children from his marriage to his first wife and friend, Shirley (Ron) Collier, Bob (Pam) Stark, Jr. of Oran, MO, Lori (Billy) Hamby of Petersburg, TN, and April (Duane) Motes of Senath, MO; his sisters, Neoma Kevitt of Dexter, MO, Blenda (Dave) Mosier of MI, and Teresa (Jack) Midikiff of Decatur, MI; brothers, Ronnie (Judy) Stark of Holcomb, MO, and Dwayne (Evelyn) Stark of Malden, MO; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Nick, Joseph, Adam, Amy, and Autumn; and his great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Braxton, and a step-great-granddaughter. Bobby was preceded in death by three brothers, E. C., James, and Connie Stark and a sister, Vedra. Visitation will be in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 beginning at noon with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m.
