Bobbie Jean Vincent, 85-year-old resident of Doniphan, departed this life Monday, November 29, 2021, in Poplar Bluff, MO. She was born January 8, 1936, in Shreveport, LA to the late Henry Frank and Lydia Bernice Freeman Hornsby. Bobbie enjoyed gardening, collecting toys, loved her pets, and loved helping people in the community in need.
In 1958, in Reno, NV, she was married to Norman Fred Vincent, who preceded her in death August 15, 1989. Also preceding her in death were children Joni Williams, Steven Riley, and her sister Zandra Long.
Surviving is daughter Debra Lowe of Poplar Bluff, MO; 2 sisters Donna Hughes of Claremore, OK; Anne Imwalle of Salinas, CA; 3 grandchildren, Jami Madison, Homer Lambert, Jr., Tammy Steers; 4 great-grandchildren Macayla Owens, Trevor Walters, Dillen Lambert, Daniel Steers; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021, in the Doniphan Cemetery with Pastor Keith Luke officiating.
