Words cannot express the love and kindness that Dollie shared with others her whole life, I was honored to know her my entire life. She was an angel on earth to many including my own mother whom Dollie visited during her losing fight with cancer. I am sorry i did not get to tell you goodbye my dear friend. Give David a hug for me

Dee, Lauren and family, So sorry for your loss. Such a sweet and wonderful person she was. She gave me her sweet pickle recipe one time. I make them every year and the whole family loves them. When I wrote the recipe down I put "Dollie's recipe." She always had a smile when I saw her. My thoughts and Prayers are with you guys. God Bless.

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I have learned of Dollie’s passing. I have known this beautiful lady since I was five years old. When my family transferred to Doniphan from Wyoming, Dollie was the First Lady I met. She quickly became a dear and loving friend to our family. We were able to enjoy many of her delicious baked treats. After I started college, Dollie sent me birthday and Christmas cards each year after I moved away. I kept them all. Her faith in God was ever present, steadfast and firm. She always radiated with the glow of know God. Her faith reflected in everything she did. When my Dad passed away, Dollie came to our house and sat next to my mom (she wouldn’t sit on a chair but choose to sit on the floor) close to my Mom holding my her hand as they both cried together. I will never forget that image of Dollie’s unconditionally love for people in each season of life. Those of us who knew her lost a gracious piece of our heart but Heaven has gained a true Angel. My heartfelt condolences are with her family. Her spirit, faith and love for mankind will never be forgotten. Thank you Dollie for caring, loving me & always making me feel welcomed in a town that never accepted my family as we were outsiders from the West. I will forever miss and love you Dollie.
