Clifton Hubert Jones, 67-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born July 11, 1954 in Aliceville in Pickins County, AL to the late Bill and Marie (Eaves) Jones.
Cliff had moved to Doniphan to be near family and quickly began to appreciate the many fishing opportunities with grandkids and friends. He also enjoyed a variety of music and would meet with friends for jam sessions.
Surviving is his son, Shannon Jones of Doniphan; daughter, Cassy Johnson, also of Doniphan; two sisters, Janice Johnson of LA and Donna Pate of AL; and his four grandchildren, Ethan Jones, Emmitt Jones, Evan Jones, and Nakota Portwood.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
