Obituary of Michelle Avanel Large

Michelle Avanel Large, 49-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Friday, August 13, 2021 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born October 4, 1971 in Multnomah County, Portland, OR to Lynn Marvin South and Connie Kay King, both of Portland.
Michelle was a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ who attended His Place Church where she served and was a prayer warrior. She was a great mother to William, Faith, and Lynne. Michelle was a true friend to many and was admired for her strength, determination, and compassion. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Michelle was survived by her children, Faith Large and William Large, both of Doniphan, and Lynne Halladay of Portland, and her brothers, Merril South and Richard South of Portland.
Visitation will be at His Place Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 a.m.
Memorials may be made in her name to Samaritan's Purse.
