Elizabeth Rauch Dandurand of Grandin, MO, passed on Sunday, April 18th, 2021 in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Elizabeth was born November 9th, 1927 in Chicago IL. She was adopted by the Rauch Family out of The Cradle in Evanston IL. She was a homemaker, bookkeeper, seamstress, pastry chef, and much more. She loved her country and was actively engaged in political causes throughout her life, often using of her love baking to support candidates with a homemade pie.
On August 19, 1946, she married her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, the late Thomas Dandurand, in Park Ridge, IL. Together they enjoyed camping, traveling, raising their children, and later in life building their home in the woods of Missouri.
Mrs. Dandurand is survived by her granddaughter, Frances Pleines of Mundelein, IL, great granddaughter, Savannah Morrison of Eugene, OR; cousin, Harry Wineman of Las Vegas, NV; several nieces and nephews, and other beloved distant family members.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Thomas, daughter Kathryn Dandurand-Pleines, and granddaughter, Rose Pleines-Zych.
