Obituary of Donna Christine Phelps

Donna Christine Phelps, 67-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Saturday, March 20, 2021. She was born March 13, 1954 in Highland, IL to the late Donald and Josephine (Berry) Bickford. Donna was a warm, friendly, caring person. She opened her home to many children and people over the years. Her family meant the world to her. She had many grandchildren, and they brought smiles to her face and joy to her heart. Donna enjoyed BBQs and having big family gatherings. You always knew a holiday was coming because she loved to decorate for each one. Donna enjoyed having a full house. Surviving is her husband, Kevin Phelps; her children, Jojo Crews of Doniphan, Veronica Crews of Springfield, MO, Cathy (Karl) Stansell of McMinneville, TN, Bobby Crews of Grandin, MO, Rick Phelps of Marion, IL, and Glenda Phelps of Macon, IL; her brother, Rex (Becca) Bickford of Doniphan; her grandchildren, Kandis, Dayvon, and Daysha Crews of Doniphan, Little Karl and Harley Stansell of McMinnville, TN, Xander and Kyra Crews of Grandin, Carli Cora Crews of Doniphan, Haylee Crews of Marshfield, MO, Ricky and Lukas Phelps of Marion, IL, Jada Phelps of Macon, IL, and Samantha Phelps of Kankakee, IL; great-grandson, Cameron Phelps of Marion, IL; chosen grandchildren, Aliyah Evans and Jacob Hall of Grandin; and chosen great-grandchild, Piper Helton-Ritchey. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by one brother, Mel Bickford. Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home Friday, March 26, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made in her name to the Bread Shed.
