Eleanor J. Anderson Strong, 82, (Tootie), formally of Franklin, Ohio passed away suddenly of natural causes on January 6, 2021 at her home in Gatewood, Missouri. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; her parents, Paul and Hazel Anderson; sisters, Marilee Anderson Ling, Hazel Reedy Gentry, and Lois Anderson; brothers, Howard Reedy, Harry Reedy, and Richard Reedy; and nephews and nieces, Gary Reedy, Anthony Ling. Mike Reedy, Paula Reedy Ledford, Rick Reedy, Mary Reedy, Donald Reedy, Randall Reedy, and Jay Myers. Eleanor is survived by a brother, James Larry (Linda) Anderson of Middletown, Ohio; a half-sister, Ruth Marie Anderson Myers of Nebraska; her many nieces and nephews, Pauletta Ling Fowler (Wayne) of Tipp City, Ohio, Annette Ling of Franklin, Ohio, Beverly Ling of Washington, Ronald Ling of Maryland, Gregory Anderson of Middletown, Ohio, Jodi Winters (Steve) of Springboro, Ohio, Jill Irwin (John)West, Liberty, Ohio, Karen Sargent (Joe) of Franklin, Ohio, Mark Myers, (Ann) Lincoln, Nebraska, Angie Jensen (Joe), Germantown Ohio, Stacy Reedy, Franklin, Ohio; 39 great-nieces and nephews, and 25 great-great-nieces and nephews. Tootie’s hobbies were her quilting business, watching Dancing with the Stars, eating Hershey Kisses, her dog, Bengi, visiting friends, listening to music, and talking on the phone to her family. Her favorite vacation was traveling to Niagara Falls with her husband Joe. Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan, Missouri will serve Mrs. Strong’s last wishes. Burial will be in Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to First Baptist Church in Franklin, Ohio or the American Heart Association. The family of Mrs. Strong would like to thank the family of Mr. Robert Yount, the family of Mr. Gary Watkins, and Edwards Funeral Home for all the help and support you have given to our much-loved sister and aunt throughout her senior years. Along with many others we may not have gotten to know. Lastly much love to her best friend, Karen, and husband. Eleanor was a faithful Christian, baptized in 1960 with her sister Marilee and member of the First Baptist Church, Franklin, Ohio. The family would like to give everyone hope that knowing Jesus Christ, you will see Tootie again. God Bless each neighbor and friend.
