Billy Wayne Fann, 76-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Friday, December 4. 2020 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO. He was born October 15, 1944 in Etowah, AR to the late Elvie and Mildred (Pulliam) Fann. Billy had retired from General Motors Parts Division after 30 years of employment. He was a member of UAW. Billy loved deer hunting and fishing. Growing up on a farm, Billy learned to love gardening and farming. He enjoyed mowing grass and being on his tractor. Billy was very active in his church, Logan Creek General Baptist, and served as a deacon. On October 26, 1963, Billy married Barbara Price. She survives. Also surviving are his daughters, Pamela Noyes of Newport, NH and Laneen (John) Lueck of Romeoville, IL; his sister, Betty Elder of Poplar Bluff, MO and four grandchildren, Devin Noyes, Chelsea Noyes, Igor Husick, and Katya Davidson. Billy was preceded in death by one daughter, Therese Fann and a sister, Helen French. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The funeral will follow at noon with Pastor Curtis Crowley officiating. Both will be in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Poynor Cemetery.
