Obituary of Stan Lowery

Harold Stanton “Stan” Lowery, 63, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Thursday, October 8, 2020. He was born March 3, 1957 in St. Louis, MO to Patsy Ann “Pat” (McAnnally) Lowery and the late Harold Elvis “Pete” Lowery. Stan had worked as a sales manager for General Motors and enjoyed anything to do with automobiles, especially classic cars. He loved Current River and spending time boating and making memories on the river with family and friends. He had an easygoing nature and was always personable and upbeat. Stan also spent time operating heavy equipment working on his property. On October 31, 1977, Stan married Linda Ederer in Pocahontas, AR. She survives. Also surviving are his sons, Travis (Hope) Lowery of Doniphan and Jeremy (Laura) Lowery of Jackson, MO; his brothers, Mark Lowery and Bruce Lowery, both of Doniphan; and his grandchildren, Coleton, Carson, and Raelynn. Stan was preceded in death by his sister, Twyla McCollumn, and his father, Pete Lowery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 at Edwards Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Ward Cemetery in Fairdealing with Pastor Jeff McConnaughay officiating.
