Runey Levi "Fritz" Bishop Runey Levi "Fritz" Bishop, 80, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at the John J. Pershing Medical Center. Mr. Bishop was born October 5, 1926, in Naylor, Missouri. He was a former truck driver. Mr. Bishop was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had received military honors. He was a lifetime member of the Doniphan VFW Post #3485. He enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to music as well as root digging. On March 3, 1956, he was married to Florence Shannon in St. Louis, Missouri. She survives. Also surviving are four sons; Runey (Jenni) Bishop of Hinesville, Georgia, James (Sandra) Kershaw of Pearl, Mississippi, Bobby (Joan) Kershaw and Eddie Kershaw of New London Missouri; five daughters; Janice Craig of Deltona, Florida, Debbie (Jerry) Williams of Ironton, Missouri, Ginny (Joe) Gomillion of Terry, Mississippi, Carol (Gary) White of Desloge, Missouri and Gladys (Bob) Sanders of Florrisant, Missouri; one sister; Anna Lee Sullivan of Hazelwood, Missouri; one brother; Clarence Bishop of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; twenty-four grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Noah and Mazie Campbell Bishop; one son; Patrick Bishop; one sister; Eva Mae Oliver; and five brothers; Laymond, EB, Sonny, Jerrel and Earl Bishop. Visitation will be Friday, March 30, 2007, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 31, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Brother Jeff Sprouce officiating. Burial will be in Black Cemetery.
