Earnest Ferrell, 93, of Doniphan died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan. Mr. Ferrell was born January 24, 1913 in Park, Missouri. He had previously lived in Marysville, CA. On December 30, 1933, he married Nellie Marie Roundtree in Naylor. She preceded him in death on June 11, 2006. Survivors include two sons, John M. Ferrell of Orange Park, FL; and Jim A. Ferrell of Jefferson City, MO; one daughter, Ellen J. Ferrell Cozad of Stratford, CA; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. and Martha Rebecka Johnson Ferrell; three sisters, Delpha Ferrell, Ocie Ferrell, and Annis F. Beasley; and six brothers, Garlen Alex, Jessie, Jim T., Mark Anderson, Charles Otto and John Ferrell. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 19, 2007 at the Naylor Cemetery in Naylor, MO.
