Angela you may not know me but Hank and I played ball together in High School. I told Evenlyn that Hank was probably the only one guy that I play ball with that wanted to play as a team and we played well together. I too thought of him as a Freind after he Graduated and would come back home. I would try and get with him to play pick-up games. There were not many that I would do this with and it was because he was different. I know that you know what a special man he was because youn married him for some of the same reasons to why I got along well with him. My prays are with you and the Girls and everyone else that knew him. Hoyt Brown

I have some wonderful memories of Hank Fender, he was apart of our family for many years. There was never a dull moment when he was around...lots of laughs!!! He alwyas treated me just like I was his own and tried to teach me many things, such as keep the oil changed in my car and not back over his beautiful lawn when backing out of the driveway, he would just wave and say, it's alright I'll take care of it as he was laughing and shaking his head. Just remeber you could have eaisly taken Elvis Presley's place, thanks to me, your coach. Rest In Peace!

Hank will be missed by so many - especially his family, friends, and co-workers. He had a special talent for rural healthcare but could adapt anywhere he went - even Beverly Hills. He would never ask an employee to do anything that he would not do himself. I have some great memories of Hank and I shall always remember his smile and that he always kept my car spotless!! Hope we will all be together again someday. Evelyn, Steve, Cynthia, and his daughters - I am thinking of you.

Hankster, i'm gonna miss u, who else would send me through the deer woods with a pistol and a jug of pennies. love - willy mc P.S. Last night I dreamed I died and stood outside those pearly gates. When suddenly I realized there must be some mistake. If they know half the things I've done, they'll never let me in. And then somewhere from the other side I heard these words again. And he said, "Let me tell you a secret about a father's love, A secret that my daddy said was just between us." He said, "Daddies don't just love their children every now and then. It's a love without end, amen, it's a love without end, amen."

Dear Angela, Haley and Hannah, I know Brad already posted a note; however, I wanted to take minute to share some thoughts with you too. Angela, I have been thinking about you all this week, praying for you and the girls to gain strength and comfort during this very difficult time. Although I only would see you and Hank and the girls a couple of times a year through the TAHFA meetings and conferences; you guys and the other members have become like family to us. We have enjoyed getting to know you through the years. We will miss Hank. We had some fun times together didn't we? Hank was always happy and had such a fun-loving attitude...that is what I liked about him. He always had a big smile on his face and stories to tell. What I remember most about Hank was that Hank's stories usually involved you, Angela, and the girls. He was always proud to share what the girls were doing, what they were involved in, and what you guys were doing together as a family, etc. Haley and Hannah, your Daddy adored you, loved you so much, and was so proud of you. You can know that for certain, without a doubt. Healing thoughts and prayers, Karen Martin PS - Remember that shoe? :)
