Edith Ann "Diane" Gambling, 58, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Mrs. Gambling, daughter of the late Lawrence and Eileen (Willett) Sorenson, was born January 14, 1952, in Granite City, Illinois. She was a nurse. Mrs. Gambling enjoyed her family and friends and loved to play bingo and crochet. On April 18, 1970, she was married to Robert Gambling in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He survives. Also surviving are two children; Macheal Neel and Kenny Gambling, both of Doniphan; one sister, Diana Sorenson of California; and six grandchildren, Taylor Gambling, Kayden Gambling, Lydia Vivian, Dylan Gambling, Kaila Matthews and Blayn Gambling. Mrs. Gambling was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Steven Gambling, and one grandson, Bryce Gambling. Visitation will be Thursday evening, May 13, 2010, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place Friday morning, May 14, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
