Robert L. Glass
Robert L. "Bob" Glass, 64, of Currentview, Missouri, formerly of Imperial and St. Louis, Missouri, died Friday, March 16, 2007, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Mr. Glass was born May 5, 1942, in St. Louis. He retired as a supervisor for Sunnen Products. At his death he was owner/operator of Jake's Bar at Currentview. Mr. Glass enjoyed the Doniphan area and living at Currentview and working at his bar. He was a member of Modern Day Vets at Currentview and the Elks Lodge.
On March 24, 1984, he was married to Emma Damazyn at Cedar Hill, Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons Robert L. "Rob" Glass of Farmington, Missouri, and Joel Glass of St. Louis, Missouri; one step-daughter Stephanie (and Dan) Schweitzer of St. Charles, Missouri; one brother Edwin Glass of Newberg, Missouri; and four grandchildren Justin, Ryan and Steven Glass and Nathan Schweitzer.
He was preceded in death by one son Eugene"Geno" Glass; his parents Edwin Neal Glass and Alma Clark Glass; and one sister Anita Louise Glass.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 20, 2007, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at the Pope Chapel Cemetery with burial to follow.
