Ina Lee Rush, 80-year-old resident of Doniphan, died Friday, August 10, 2007 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Mrs. Rush was born December 20, 1926 in Ripley County, MO, to the late Walter & Mary Lousettie (Smithson) Hyde. Formerly of Southern and Santa Maria CA., she was a former schoolteacher and worked at a dry cleaners in California. Mrs. Rush was a member of the Doniphan Church of Christ and a former Sunday School Superintendent in California. She enjoyed watching wild life from her back yard. On November 16, 1946 in Piggott, AR, she was married to Clifford Rush who survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Karen Rush of Doniphan, MO; one nephew, Noel Hyde Jr. of Elk Grove, IL.; 2 grandchildren, Alicia Brimhall & Evan Brimhall of Doniphan. Mrs. Rush was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Daly Hyde, Marvin Hyde and Noel Hyde. Visitation will be Sunday August 12 from 5-8 PM at Edwards Funeral Home and a graveside service Monday August 13 at 10 AM at Doniphan City Cemetery with Steve Sanders officiating.
