Obituary of Monty Wayne Roberts

Monty Wayne Roberts, 58, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Mr. Roberts, son of Bill Roberts and Mary Helen (Pippin) Pigg, was born September 23, 1958, in Doniphan.  He had been a factory worker at Nordine Manufacturing and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his mother, Helen Pigg of Doniphan; his father, Bill Roberts of Piedmont, Missouri; 1 child, Staci (and Kenny) Hickson of Poplar Bluff; 1 brother, Danny (and Sylvia) Pigg of Doniphan; and 2 grandchildren, Ellie and Levi Harlow. 

He was preceded in death by a sister, Diana Meyer, maternal grandparents, Henry and Eula Pippin and paternal grandparents, Henry and Rosalee Roberts.

Visitation will be held Saturday morning, September 9, 2017, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.  The funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel with Brother Monty Flanagan officiating.  Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
