Chris Verkler, 47, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at her residence in rural Ripley County.
Ms. Verkler, daughter of Hester (Nelson) Hutton and step-father Kenny Hutton, was born August 7, 1969, in Rockford, Illinois. She had been employed in home healthcare. Ms. Verkler enjoyed working in crafts and especially loved her nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her fiancée, Rick Emmons of Doniphan; her mother and step-father, Kenny and Hester Hutton of Pocahontas, Arkansas; 2 sisters, Chastidy Hedge of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Calest Hedge of Paragould, Arkansas; 1 brother, Michael Eugene Finley of Harrisburg, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday afternoon from 12:00 -2:00 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Doniphan.
