Laura Ellena Coleman, 32, her daughter, Maycie Dove Harris, 4, and her son, Gunner Lee Coleman, 2, of Fairdealing, Missouri, departed this life Thursday, January 26, 2017, at their residence in rural Ripley County. Ms. Coleman, daughter of Ronald Lynn Coleman and Ellen Kay (Borkus) Martinez, was born June 14, 1984, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She had been a homemaker. Laura enjoyed doing crafts, decorating and writing. She especially enjoyed being with her family. Surviving are 1 child, Blake Gulick of Killeen, Texas; her parents, Ron (and Trish) Coleman of Vichy, Missouri, and Ellen (and Gerald J.) Martinez of Bentonville, Arkansas; 2 sisters, Alexandra J. Martinez and Danielle Martinez, both of Bentonville, Arkansas; 2 step-sisters, Christy Person of Rolla, Missouri, and Tracy Gaither of Azel, Texas; 2 brothers, Calvin Wayne Coleman of Fayettevile, Arkansas, and Ronald Lee Coleman (and fiancé Amber Merrell) of Moberly, Missouri; and maternal grandparents, Daniel Borkus of Doniphan, Missouri, and Drema Ramsey of Fairdealing. She was preceded in death by 2 children, Maycie Dove Harris and Gunner Lee Coleman. Gunner was born April 14, 2014, in Rolla, Missouri. Gunner loved Mickey Mouse and he affectionately called him by the nickname “Toodles”. He also liked watching Mickey on his mother's cell phone. Gunner was an adorable little boy who enjoyed playing with his toy trucks and listening to the song, "Ten Little Monkeys". Gunner loved his Uncle Lester and his many tickles. He is survived by 1 brother, Blake Gulick of Killeen, Texas; his grandparents, Ron (Trish) Coleman and Ellen (Gerald J.) Martinez; and maternal great-grandparents, Daniel Borkus and Drema Ramsey. Maycie Dove was born January 30, 2012, in Rolla, Missouri. She will be buried Tuesday, January 31, 2017, with arrangements being made in Licking, Missouri. Maycie was a huge fan of the movie Frozen and her favorite character was Elsa. She loved to sing, “Let It Go”. Her big smile and bright blue eyes lit up every room she entered. She is survived by 1 brother, Blake Gulick of Killeen, Texas; her father, Josh Harris; maternal grandparents, Ron (Trish) Coleman and Ellen (Gerald J.) Martinez; and maternal great-grandparents, Daniel Borkus and Drema Ramsey; and other grandparents and great-grandparents. Visitation for mother and son will be held Friday, February 3, 2017, at noon at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. A graveside service memorializing Laura, Gunner and Maycie will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Laura Ellena’s Angelic Garden Cemetery in Fairdealing.
