Don Lynndal Miller, 74, of Pine, MO, was called home to be with The Lord on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Surrounded by loved ones, he left this Earth to go to his eternal home in Heaven. He was born on May 13, 1942, to the late Glenn “Buster” and Glea Miller. Lynndal owned and operated a farm and sawmill for 48 years at Pine-Bardley. He was a member of Briar Missionary Baptist Church and was the Sunday School teacher for 35 years. Lynndal loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to him, salvation was the most important decision in anyone’s life. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching the Cardinals, Fox News, and Old Westerns. He also loved deer and coon hunting. On January 6, 1964, he married Aleta Goodwin. He is survived by his wife of 53 loving years; one son, David (Sheila) Miller; three daughters, Darla (Nathan) Gordon, Donna (Brian) Dilbeck, and Dana Allen; six grandchildren, Jeremiah and Nicholas Gordon, Anita Sturgeon, Monica Van Gent, Joshua Miller, and Ryan Allen; and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters,Arlene Terry and Imogene Pyland, and many nieces and nephews. Lynndal was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Glea Miller; two brothers, Bob and Jim Miller; and two sisters, Glenna Miller and Marie Wissmach. Visitation will be held at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan on Friday, January 27, 2017, from 5:00-8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at 10:00 AM, at Edwards Funeral Home with Brother Dennis Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Cemetery in Pine, MO. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Bread Shed, 308 Walnut Street, Doniphan, MO 63935.
