Junior Franklin Gribble, 79, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Mr. Gribble, son of Tom Wesley and Mattie Francis (White) Gribble, was born July 7, 1937, in New Deal, Missouri. He was a self-employed farmer and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and working his livestock. Mr. Gribble was a former member of the West Point Pentecostal Church. Surviving are 6 children: Lee Gribble, Debra (and Kenneth) Petigo, Randy Gribble and Rhonda Mierisch, all of Doniphan; Robert Gribble of New Madrid, Missouri; and Cynthia Gribble of Kennett, Missouri; 6 sisters, Carol McElroy, Ruth Mayberry, Liddie Moore and Dorothy (and John) Williams, all of Portageville, Missouri; Linda (and Roy) White of Lilbourn, Missouri; and Ellen Lee of Bertrand, Missouri; 3 brothers, Thomas Gribble of Piggott, Arkansas; Freddie Gribble of Dyersberg, Tennessee; and Leon Gribble of Malden, Missouri; grandchildren, Tommy, Hayden, Shalane, Brittany, Bernay, Brandy, Justin, Christina, Tosha and Heather; many great-grandchildren; his ex-wife, Joyce Gribble of Kennett, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Pam Reams; a sister, Lois Gribble; and a brother Don Gribble. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday morning, September 16, 2016, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m., in the funeral home chapel.
