John Earl Brinker, 67, of Doniphan, passed away unexpectedly at his home doing the things he loved with his wife Sunday August 7th, 2016. Born May 7th, 1949 he is survived by his loving wife Rowana Brinker of 43 years. In addition to his wife he leaves behind his children, Christopher and Dawn Brinker, of Knoxville, TN, Amy and husband JD Smith, of Denver, CO, Rebecca and husband Jose Flores, of Little Rock, AR, and Maranda Brinker, of Denver, CO; Grandsons Connor and Kaden Brinker, of Knoxville, TN; His sisters, Margaret Dolen, of Michigan, Betty Joyce, of Montana and Beverly Brinker of Arizona; and His brother, Jim Brinker, of Michigan. John was a loving Husband, amazing father, brother, uncle, caring grandfather, dedicated boss, and best friend to many. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was always there for anyone no matter what they needed. John loved hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and making beautiful homes with his family all over the US. He was not only an artist but a visionary and there was nothing he could not create or repair. He loved his dogs and his love for animalsextended far beyond his own even to the wild animals he encountered and nourished. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all the lives he touched. A memorial service will be held Wednesday evening, August 10, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.
