Lloyd Edwin Sullivan, 91, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Westwood Hills Nursing Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Mr. Sullivan, son of the late John and Lula (Crook) Sullivan, was born May 3, 1925, in rural Ripley County, Missouri. He had been a long-time employee of Meek’s Lumber Company prior to retirement. Mr. Sullivan enjoyed all yard work but especially liked working in his garden. He also loved being with his family and friends. On November 19, 1954, he was married to Mary Czerwonka in Poplar Bluff and she preceded him in death on September 1, 2007. Surviving are 2 sons, Gary Sullivan of Doniphan, Missouri, and Larry Joe Sullivan of Kansas City, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Mandy Moore, Brandi Dugger, Candi Sullivan and Trevor Sullivan; 7 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Britney, Garrett, Camille, Elise, Juliette and Tessa; 1 sister, Louine Haney of Fruitland, Missouri; and 1 brother, Cleve Sullivan of Fernwood, Idaho. He was also preceded in death by 1 sister, Rosie Davidson and 3 brothers, Carl Sullivan, Oscar Sullivan and Willie Sullivan. Visitation will begin Monday morning, July 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel with Brother John Payne officiating. Burial will be in the Hunt-White Cemetery.
