Helen Henson-Daughenbaugh of Doniphan, Missouri, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri..
Mrs. Henson-Daughenbaugh, daughter of the late Rex and Bernice Christian, was born October 17, 1936, in Poynor, Missouri. She enjoyed cooking and reading and was a member of the Doniphan Church of Christ.
On May 31, 1955, she was married to Wink Henson and he preceded her in death on February 20, 2000. She later married John Daughenbaugh and he died March 26, 2008.
Surviving are 2 sons, Shawn Henson and Wink Henson, Jr.; 3 sisters, Georgia Hall, Sue Christian and Sarah Christian; 1 brother, Bob Christian; and 3 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Becky Roberts and one sister, Peggy Bast.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, April 16, 2016, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Steve Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Cemetery in Bardley, Missouri.
