Helen M. Campbell
Helen M. Campbell, 99, of Doniphan, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Campbell was born December 27, 1907, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a legal secretary. Mrs. Campbell volunteered 15 years at the Doniphan Gospel Rescue Mission and was an avid letter writer. Additionally she raised hereford cattle.
On September 11, 1925, she was married to James Clark Campbell in Wellsburg, West Virginia. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1980.
Survivors include two sisters Dorothy L. Kelly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Rosemarie Sullivan of Coropolis, Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be Friday, March 9, 2007, at noon at Edwards Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Brother Larry Bashaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Rest at Pocahontas, Arkansas.
