Lavada Lee Payne
Lavada Lee Payne, 80, of Doniphan died Monday, February 26, 2007, at the Current River Nursing Center.
Mrs. Payne was born October 16, 1926, in Doniphan, Missouri. She was retired from Prince Gardner Company as a seamstress supervisor. Mrs. Payne enjoyed yardwork, piano, gardening and embroidery.
On May 6, 1946, she was married to Arnold Payne. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Allie Pierce and Frances Littles Pierce and one sister, Alzada Boyles.
She is survived by one sister, Euvalta Crews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 28, 2007, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, March 1, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Brother Ronnie Payne officiating.
