Allen Czerwonka Lawrence Allen Czerwonka, 76, of Doniphan died Sunday, January 28, 2007, at Little Rock Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. Mr. Czerwonka was born March 29, 1930, in Champagne-Urvana, Ill to the late Frank & Rhoda Czerwonka. He was a member of the First Church of God and was employed as an industrial painter. On October 22, 1949, he married Glenna Pepmiller in Pocahontas, AR. She survives. Mr. Czerwonka loved to hunt & fish, going to Alton, Ill every Labor day to watch First Church of God Men's softball team play in the tournament. Allen was a fan & supporter of Dons & Donettes sports by painting the black & gold in the high school gym. Survivors include three children, Gerald & wife Judi Czerwonka of Columbia and Charles & wife Brenda Czerwonka and Bernita & husband Alton Thompson, both of Doniphan; two sisters, Dorothy Boaz of Greenfield, Tenn., and Mary Sullivan of Doniphan; one brother, Harold Czerwonka of Highland, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Allen will be greatly missed by all but he is with our Heavenly Father and will see us again. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Brother Larry Bashaw officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
