Charles “Keith” Abbott, 41, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Mr. Abbott, son of Odis and Wanda (VanVickle)Abbott, was born June 26, 1971, in Memphis, Tennessee. He had been a sawmiller. Mr. Abbott enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his sons.

He was married to Dana Jones on June 5, 1992, in Anthony, Kansas and she survives.

Also surviving are his children, Charles “Chuck” Abbott (and Amber) of Doniphan and Jeremy Abbott and Fred Abbott, both of the home; his parents, Odis and Wanda Abbott of Doniphan; two brothers, David Abbott of Doniphan and Randy Abbott (and Tammy) of Jackson, Missouri; and one grandchild, Conner Abbott.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Gail Abbott.

Visitation for Mr. Abbott will be Tuesday evening, July 31, 2012, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. A graveside service will take place Wednesday morning, August 1, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Abbott Cemetery.
